Creating Templates

TTG web galleries double as Publisher templates. When a gallery is created, the corresponding template files will be generated. Currently, only TTG Highslide version 4.2.0 and onwards supports this feature.

To create and install a template:

1. Create a gallery in Lightroom's Web Module

2. Create navigation links using absolute URLs, beginning with http:// or /.

3. Upload the gallery under the publisher/templates directory on your server. For example, should you generate a gallery titled 'template1', after upload to your server it would be found in the folder publisher/templates/template1. Any number of templates can be created.

Note that the photos and thumbnails generated with a template are not required. It is recommended to not select any images for the web gallery in order to minimise the time to generate the gallery/template.

Optional Features

Publisher supports a number of features in templates generated via the Web Module. For these features to be available to a template, they need to be set in the Web Mobile.

1. TTG Cart. It is important that the Cart URL be either absolute or a truncated absolute path. Examples are: http://yoursite.com/cart/ and /cart/. Relative URLs such as '../cart/' will not work with the dynamic nature of TTG Published albums.

2. Maps. Enable this in the Web Module to have the feature available to Publisher templates.

3. Password Protection. Enable this in the Web Module to have the feature available to Publisher templates.
