Installing and Activating Your Theme

So, you've designed your theme and exported from Lightroom. Now you have a folder full of files, and you're wondering what to do with them.

If you're following these steps in order, you should already have a functional installation of WordPress running the default WordPress theme. If you haven't installed WordPress yet, get on it.

What you want to do is upload your exported theme – as a folder! – into the /wp-content/themes/ folder of your WordPress installation. Assuming you've installed the blog to http://yourdomain.com/blog/, you would then have your theme files located at:

/blog/wp-content/themes/YOUR-THEME/

This done, login to your WordPress Dashboard (http://yourdomain.com/blog/wp-admin/). On the left, access Appearance and then Themes. Among your installed themes – the defaults, plus any others you may have installed previously – you will now find TTG CE2 Theme for WordPress. Press the Activate link and you've done it – TTG is all up in your blog.
